Client Accounting and Advisory Services
Your books shouldn't just be something you hand over at tax time.
If you don’t know your financials, you don’t know your business. It starts with clean, accurate books. Without them, you can’t confidently manage expenses, plan distributions, evaluate investments, or identify issues like slow collections. Whether you need financing, are planning for growth, or thinking about an exit, reliable financials are essential—and not an area to cut corners. They also create opportunities for proactive tax planning. We work with a wide range of businesses—from medical practices to landscaping to retail and distribution—across all stages. We simply love helping businesses run smarter.
Business Consulting
Knowing what your business is worth isn't just useful — sometimes it's required.
Business valuations are needed for more situations than most owners realize: buying or selling a business, estate planning, probate, gift tax returns, shareholder disputes, and more. As a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and CPA, I'm qualified to provide credible, defensible valuations for all of these — and I'm actively growing this service line.
My transaction experience goes beyond theory. My corporate career included working inside companies owned by private equity firms, and serving as Controller for a Management Services Organization (MSO) with a complex ownership structure spanning private equity investors, healthcare organizations, and physician partners.
Tax Preparation
We don't do simple W-2 returns. We handle business tax returns and individual returns for owners.
We work with businesses, their owners, and real estate investors. That means business returns for LLCs, S-Corps, and partnerships — plus individual returns for owners and anyone with rental real estate, because when you have a business or investment property, your personal and business taxes are too interconnected to separate.
We see it all the time: new business owners trying to save money by going it alone on taxes — and ending up owing the IRS and their state for years because nobody helped them plan ahead. This is not the area to cut corners. The cost of a good tax professional is almost always less than the cost of getting it wrong.
My Story
Bio: About Me
I started in accounting in 2000, working my way through college as a bookkeeper. Twenty-five years later, I've worked inside companies with over a billion dollars in revenue where I learned about scaling, served as Controller for a private equity-backed healthcare company, and seen firsthand what separates businesses that thrive from ones that struggle.
In 2024 I launched my own firm — because I wanted to work directly with business owners who deserve that same level of financial expertise, without having to be a Fortune 500 company to access it.
I recently earned my Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation, which means I can now help with business valuations for sales, estate planning, legal proceedings, and more. My CPA background gives me an edge here — I don't just run the numbers, I understand the business behind them.
My firm has grown to include a dedicated Tax Manager, so we can take on more clients without sacrificing the personal attention you deserve.
I live in North Raleigh with my husband Patrick, our two sons, and our two dogs. When I'm not working, I'm probably at the beach. I built this business so I could be present for my family — and I bring that same values-first approach to every client relationship.
