My Story
About Me
I began my accounting journey in 2000 as a bookkeeper while putting myself through college at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Since then, I’ve built a career spanning over two decades, working as a Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, and Controller for companies with more than $1 billion in annual revenue.
Over the years, I’ve led complex financial operations and corporate audits from the inside, gaining hands-on experience in everything from financial reporting and internal controls to budgeting and due diligence. Today, I bring that same level of skill and professionalism to the small businesses I serve—because they need and value the kind of insight I can offer.
In 2024, I launched my own practice to gain the flexibility to spend more time with my family, be near the beach I love, and finally work for myself. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I live in North Raleigh with my husband Patrick Bayley, our two sons, and our two beloved dogs. When I’m not working with clients, you can probably find me enjoying time with my family—or planning my next beach day.
